phyCORE-ARM9/LPC3180

The phyCORE-ARM9/LPC3180 supports the industry's first 90nm ARM9™ processor-based microcontroller. The high-performance, low power LCP3180 32-bit microcontroller from NXP features the ARM926EJ-S™ processor, and provides a vector floating-point co-processor, integrated USB OTG, as well as the ability to operate in ultra-low-power mode down to 0.9V.

The on-board MMU supports major operating systems, including Linux which is the leading major embedded OS. Other chip-level features include 7 UARTs, SPI, I2C, a real-time clock with a separate power domain, and NAND Flash and DDR memory controllers. These features make the devices particularly suitable for automotive and industrial control applications as well as medical systems.

phyCORE SBC modules are available in a variety of Rapid Development Kits that offer true rapid development solutions by providing all the necessary ingredients to jump start embedded designs. The kits include the phyCORE SBC module and Carrier Board, complete electronic documentation, schematics, demo applications, and third party industry-standard C compilers and embedded development environments for evaluation. A Rapid Development Kit for this board is available here.
