MATLAB® from The MathWorks is a high-level language and interactive environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and Fortran.

The RealView SoC Designer tool from ARM (SoC Designer) enables the creation of cycle-based virtual prototypes, allowing simulation of complex system-on-chip (SoC) designs. The SoC Designer Co-design Package from ARM is an optional add-on that provides an interface for co-simulation with MATLAB.

Together, these products enable designers to migrate algorithms from behavioral simulation into implementation using ARM processors. They also enable ARM processor-based system designers to replace complex cycle-based models with functional blocks to accelerate simulation performance.
