CAN Interface

The CAN Interface uses the TJA1040 CAN driver at IC4 and termination resistors at R22 and R25, respectively, on the MCBTMPM364 board.

MCBTMPM364 Board CAN Interface

The CAN DB9 connector is wired so that Pin 2 provides the CANL signal and Pin 7 provides the CANH signal. These pins are connected to a TJA1040 CAN driver.

  • CAN termination resistors make it easy to connect the MCBTMPM364 board to your CAN network but they are not always required. When connecting the MCBTMPM364 Board to a CAN network, you may need to remove the termination resistor.
  • The CAN interface is only supported on the MCBTMPM364 board.
